What's different in Forever
See how Guild Pro handles WoW Forever differently from the other games, on the site, in Discord and in the addon.
WoW Forever is Blizzard’s Classic+ game. It is in beta now and launches on 4 November 2026. Guild Pro supports it as its own game, separate from the other Classic games. This page is for anyone moving to Forever who wants to know what changes.
On the public site
- The public boards show WoW Forever: the home page, raiders, guilds, loot data, world, guild data, PvP, guild PvP and recruitment.
- The public site had a TBC tab until 20 October 2026. It has been retired. Links that start with /tbc, such as /tbc/raiders, open the same page for Forever.
- Retiring the tab removed nothing. Profiles, guild pages and recorded raids still show Burning Crusade history.
- Numbers are never added across games. A Forever player is never ranked against a player from another game.
- Old links that start with /forever still work and redirect.
Until Forever has data, its tab shows empty boards. That is the real state, not an error.
On your guild pages
- Forever is a separate guild page with its own teams, roster, signups, loot and attendance. See Add Forever to your guild.
- A Game bar at the top of guild pages switches between your games.
- Admins are set per game on Members & alts.
- The realm is picked from a list of ruleset realms instead of typed. See Forever realms.
- Guild roster opens with a Preliminary roster built from Discord roster calls, because before launch there are no characters to list.
The list of raids you can schedule on a Forever page is provisional until the game shows which raids it has. Expect it to change.
In Discord
The /rostercall command exists for Forever. It posts a sheet with two buttons, My Main and My Alts. Each person picks a class and spec for their main and for up to five alts, or chooses Undecided. Nobody needs a Guild Pro account to answer. Officers and admins can post one. See the /rostercall command.
In the addon
The Guild Pro addon loads on the Forever client. Forever runs on a newer game engine than the Classic clients, and that engine does not let addons read the combat log. This changes a few things:
| Area | On Forever |
|---|---|
| Boss pulls | Recorded from the game’s own encounter start and end signals. The addon does not need the combat log for this. |
| Loot | Recorded as on other games. |
| Auction prices | Collected through Forever’s newer auction house. |
| Combat log stream | Not available. The event stream section of the addon’s panel and the Combat log stream line on the minimap button’s tooltip are hidden, because there is nothing to measure. |
| Combat log file | The combat log file section is still shown, so you can see whether WoWCombatLog.txt is recording for Warcraft Logs. |
If the stream readout is missing on Forever, nothing is broken. It is hidden on purpose.
