Trophies and banners

Understand how trophies are earned and choose a banner for your characters or your guild.

Trophies are badges your characters earn from what the addons record. Banners are the artwork behind a profile header. This page is for every player, with a section at the end for guild admins.

How trophies work

You do not apply for a trophy. Each one is tied to a number the addons already count, such as raid nights, boss kills, PvP kills or distance travelled. When the number passes a threshold, the trophy is yours.

  • Trophies are grouped into three cases: Raid, PvP and World.
  • Each statistic has a ladder of tiers, coloured like item quality: grey, green, blue, purple and orange. Orange is legendary, and each ladder has one.
  • By default a case shows your best badge on each ladder. A small ”×” count shows how many tiers of that ladder you hold.
  • Badges you have not earned yet show your progress toward the next tier.

Trophies are worked out from your data each time, so a character’s whole history counts from the first upload.

See your trophies

  • On a public character page: the Trophy case section. Click any badge to enlarge it.
  • On /me, Achievements tab: every character’s trophies together, with a total and a count of legendaries.
  • On /me, Notifications tab: each new trophy as it is earned. A count beside the tab shows unread ones, and opening the tab marks them read.

Night honors on a character page are different. They come from raid recaps, where officers choose which awards a night hands out. See Recaps.

How banners work

  • Your universal banner dresses every character you have claimed. Everyone gets one.
  • Banners come from a fixed library, arranged in shelves such as Retro & Arcade, Cats and Fantasy & Battle. You cannot upload your own.
  • The first 5 banners on each shelf are free. The rest, marked ★, are for Supporters.
  • Supporters can also give each character its own banner.

Choose your universal banner

  1. Open /me and choose the Banners tab.
  2. Click the Universal banner card.
  3. In Pick a banner, choose a shelf: Popular, a named shelf, or All.
  4. Click a banner. The page reloads with it applied.

To remove it, choose None - the plain header.

Choose a banner for one character

This needs an active Supporter plan.

  1. On the Banners tab, click that character’s card.
  2. Pick a banner.

The card then reads “own pick ★”. You can also do this from the character’s public page: click Edit banner at the top right, then choose All my characters or Only followed by the character’s name. Only you see the Edit banner button.

To return a character to your universal banner, open its picker and choose None - the plain header. This works even after a Supporter plan has ended.

Choose a guild banner

Guild admins can set a banner for the guild’s public page.

  1. Open your guild’s public page at /guild/your-guild, where “your-guild” is your guild’s address.
  2. Click Edit banner at the top right.
  3. In Pick a guild banner, click a banner.

Banners marked Guild Master shelf need the Guild Master plan. See GM plan and boosts.

Good to know

  • A banner marked “supporter shelf” cannot be selected without a Supporter plan.
  • A character with no pick of its own always wears your universal banner.
  • A guild’s public page has its own trophy case, filled from its members’ data.
