Build a team roster
Set the standing line-up and bench for each team and raid size in the Roster Builder.
The Roster Builder holds your standing roster: who would go if everyone showed up. You build it once per team and raid size, and the Comp builder pulls from it on raid night. This page is for officers and admins.
Before you start
- You need the officer or admin role.
- Characters come from your Guild roster. A character’s role comes from its spec, so set specs first.
- To build a roster for a team, create the team on the Raid teams page.
Build a roster
- Open Roster Builder in your guild’s sidebar, at
/g/your-guild/raidcomp(“your-guild” is your guild’s address). - Pick the raid size: 10-man, 20-man, 25-man or 40-man.
- If you have teams, pick one from the team dropdown, or leave it on Whole guild.
- Fill the seats in one of two ways:
- Select ⚡ Autofill to fill the role shape with the best available raiders, preferring whoever closes a missing core buff.
- Select a raider in the Roster panel, then select a seat under Raid groups. You can also drag.
- Put standbys in Bench. The bench is the order you call people in when a seat opens.
The roster saves as you edit. There is no save button.
Moving people
- Filter the Roster panel by role or class to find someone.
- With a raider selected, press
Delto bench them orEscto let go. - ⇅ Sort groups rearranges the seated raiders into the usual layout: tanks first, melee together, hunters, casters by class, healers last. Nobody is added or removed.
- Clear empties every seat and the bench for this roster.
What the panels show
- The summary band shows the median and mean parse of the seated raiders, the count per role, and how many are seated and benched.
- Roles shows the role mix.
- Brings lists the buffs and utility the seated raiders cover and what is missing.
Parses here are each character’s best across all raids.
Roster versions
Each team and size starts with Roster v1. Select + to copy the current roster into a new version and build it differently. Switch between them with the version dropdown. You can keep up to nine versions per team and size.
Rules
- One roster per character. A character seated or benched on one team’s roster, at any size or version, cannot be added to another team’s roster. Take them off the other roster first, or use an alt.
- One character per player. Within one roster, a player can have only one of their claimed characters.
- The Whole guild roster is outside the first rule. It is a view of everyone, not a team.
What happens next
- In the Comp builder, Pull roster seats the rostered raiders who signed up, in their usual seats.
- A team’s view on the Guild roster lists everyone seated or benched on that team’s rosters.
