Post a raid recap with /recap
Use the /recap command to post what happened in your last imported raid, compared against who signed up.
/recap posts a summary of your guild’s most recent imported raid: bosses, wipes, loot, and who signed up but did not show. Anyone in the server can run it.
Before you start
- The Discord must be connected to a guild.
- The raid must already be imported from the addon. See How sync works.
Syntax
/recap [kind]
Options
| Option | What it sets | Allowed values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
kind | Which kind of run to recap. | Raid (default), Dungeon, Most recent of either | Raid |
Example
/recap kind:Dungeon
What the bot posts
The recap is posted in the channel for everyone to see. It has no buttons. It shows:
- The run’s name and when it started.
- Bosses: each kill with its fight length.
- Wipes: a count per boss, when there were any.
- Loot: who received what. The first 12 items are listed, then a count of the rest.
- Attendance: how many signed up and how many zoned in. Anyone who signed up as coming and never zoned in is named under “Signed yes, never showed”. If everyone turned up, it says so.
How signups are matched
- The recap compares against the signup sheet matched to that raid.
- If no sheet was matched, it uses your guild’s most recent sheet.
- If your guild has no sheets, it reports attendance only, with “No signup sheet to compare against.”
- A raider who offered several characters and played one is not counted as a no-show.
Things to know
- The bot looks through your guild’s 60 most recent imported runs to find the newest one of the kind you asked for.
- If nothing matches, the reply is private: “No raids imported yet.” or “No dungeon runs imported yet.”
- If the Discord is not connected, the bot replies “This Discord is not connected to a guild yet.”
