Manage members and alts
See who is in your guild, which characters belong to each person, and add or remove people.
The Members & alts page lists every person in your guild once, with all of their characters beside them. It is for officers and admins. Attendance and loot are counted per person, so this list needs to be right.
Open it at /g/your-guild/members, where “your-guild” is your guild’s address.
Before you start
- Officers and admins can open the page from the sidebar. Only admins can change roles, add people or remove people.
- A person must have signed in to Guild Pro at least once before you can add them. There has to be an account to attach characters to.
Read the People table
The People table has one row per person.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Discord | The person’s Discord name. |
| Characters | Every character in this guild that the person has claimed. Click one to open its profile. Shows “none claimed yet” if they have none. |
| Alts | How many claimed characters they have here. |
| Role | Their role in the guild. Admins see a dropdown. |
| Admin of | Only shown when your guild runs more than one game. See Ranks and admins. |
| Why | How they got the role, for example “owns the Discord” or “granted”. |
Only characters that belong to this guild are listed. A character the same person plays in another guild does not appear here.
How alts get linked
You do not attach a character to a member by hand. Characters link themselves to the player who owns them:
- The player signs in to Guild Pro with Discord.
- The player syncs with the companion app, or pastes an export on the import page.
- Their characters are claimed by their account and appear on their row.
If a character did not come across, the player can claim it from their own profile under Claim a character by code. Typing /gp status in game shows the code.
Add someone
The Add someone card lists people who are in your Discord server and have signed in to Guild Pro, but are not in the guild yet. It only appears when there is somebody to add.
- Find the person in the Add someone table.
- In Give them, choose Raider, Officer · raid leader or Admin.
- The change saves straight away and the page reloads.
You can also bring people in with an invite link or by accepting an application.
Remove someone
- Find the person in the People table.
- Open their Role dropdown and choose Remove.
The person is taken out of the guild. The owner of your Discord server cannot be removed this way.
A member can also leave by themselves: on their profile, under Your guilds, they press Leave. Their characters come off your roster. Raids they attended stay recorded.
Unclaimed characters
The Unclaimed characters card lists characters the addon has seen that nobody has claimed. Their attendance and loot are not attached to any person yet. Ask whoever plays them to sign in and sync or paste an export. The character then links itself.
Good to know
- Invite links and accepted applications follow a one-guild-at-a-time rule. Somebody who is already in another guild has to leave it first. Your own guild’s page for another game does not count as another guild.
- If you are the only admin, you cannot remove yourself or lower your own role. Make somebody else an admin first.
