The questions we'd ask

Is GuildPro really free?

Yes. Raiding is free, running a guild is free, and nothing derived from the game is ever behind a paywall. Supporters pay what they like from $1 a month for cosmetic perks and a boost, and a guild can fund the Guild Master plan for extras, or get it free from five boosts.

Which versions of WoW do you support?

WoW Forever is our main game, with Classic Era alongside it. Pick your version when you set up your guild. Forever is the default.

Does everyone need the addon?

No. Only the raid leader, and even then it's optional: raiders who install it relay their data to the leader automatically. If your guild uploads to Warcraft Logs, we read per-fight rosters straight from your reports.

Do I have to install the companion app?

No. WoW addons can't make network requests, so the companion bridges the gap: it installs the addons into every client it finds and syncs after each raid. Without it, one copy-paste per raid by one person covers the whole roster.

Do you do DKP, EPGP or loot council?

Not yet. Today GuildPro keeps the loot ledger: who got what, logged by the addon, whatever system your guild uses. DKP, EPGP, council and soft-res, plus importing your history from the addons you use now, are in development.

What happens to my data if I leave a guild?

It stays yours. Your attendance and loot history follow your account, not the guild. A GM can annotate your record but can never publish or delete it.

Will patch day break it?

Occasionally. Every addon breaks on patch day. That's why nothing in GuildPro is addon-only: what the addon captures can also come from your logs or be entered by hand.
