GuildPro watches the files your game already writes and puts your raids, loot, PvP and world data on your profile. Install it once and never think about it again.

Free, and it stays free. Everything the addons read out of the game is the game's, not ours.

What the installer actually does

  1. Installs the companion. A small desktop app. It sits in your tray and does nothing you have to look at.
  2. Finds your World of Warcraft. Every client on the machine, including ones in odd places, and private servers you point it at yourself.
  3. Puts the addons in your game. GuildPro, GuildPro PvP and GuildPro World, written straight into Interface/AddOns for each client it found. You will be shown what it wrote and where.
  4. Asks you to sign in with Discord. Once. That is what ties a character on your screen to a profile on this site.

Before any of that: Windows SmartScreen will very likely stop the installer with an "unknown publisher" warning. That is Windows being cautious about a new app it hasn't seen many times yet, not a virus flag. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.

One thing worth knowing: World of Warcraft reads its addon list only when it starts. If the game is already running when you install, quit it completely and launch again; /reload is not enough to make a brand new addon appear.

What ends up on your profile

Raids

Every boss, how long it took, how many wipes it cost, and who was standing there.

Loot

What dropped, who won it, and which boss it came off. Attributed, not guessed at.

PvP

Kills, deaths, streaks and the people you keep running into, by zone and bracket.

World

What you killed, what it dropped, what it paid, and where the hours went.

The questions people actually ask

Is this against the rules?

No. The addons use the interface Blizzard publishes for addons, and they read only what your own client already shows you. Nothing automates play, nothing reads memory, nothing touches the game process.

Windows says "unknown publisher". Is it safe?

Yes. The app is not code-signed yet: certificates are expensive and we would rather ship, so SmartScreen warns about it the way it warns about every new unsigned app. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather not, the addons install by hand too (see below) and the paste path never needs the app at all.

When does my data actually upload?

World of Warcraft writes addon data to disk when you type /reload, when you log out, and when you quit, and at no other moment. The companion uploads within seconds of that write. So the honest answer is: type /reload after a boss and it is on the site before you have finished looting.

Which versions of the game work?

Every Classic client Blizzard runs today: Classic Era, Hardcore and Season of Discovery (the 1.15 client), Burning Crusade Anniversary, and the Mists of Pandaria progression realms. Retail is deliberately not shipped. Private servers work too: point the app at the folder and it will read it.

Do I have to use it every raid?

No. It is a background process. If you never open the window again after signing in, everything still works.

Can I just install the addons myself?

Yes. The addons are ordinary folders and you can drop them into Interface/AddOns by hand, then paste your export on the import page. The installer exists because most people would rather not.
