GuildPro’s WoW Forever leaderboards are free and live at /world and /pvp. They rank things like mobs killed, jumps, distance travelled, hours played, epics won and PvP kills. To get on them, install the GuildPro app on Windows, let it add the addons to your Forever client, and play. Your stats upload each time the game saves.

  • Download the GuildPro app from guildpro.io/download (Windows)
  • Sign in with Discord and approve the pairing code
  • Tick WoW Forever and install the addons before you start levelling
  • Quit WoW completely and start it again so the addons load
  • Check for the GuildPro, GuildPro PvP and GuildPro World minimap buttons
  • Type /reload or log out after a session so the game saves your stats
  • Find your character on guildpro.io/world and guildpro.io/pvp
  • Claim the character so its page and trophies show as yours

Which WoW Forever leaderboards are there?

Two walls of boards: World at /world and PvP at /pvp. Each board ranks one stat, shows the top ten, and links through to the full standings. Forever has its own tab, and a Forever character is never ranked against a player from another game.

World boards

What the GuildPro World addon (MobMetrics) records on Forever:

  • Most mobs killed, plus Deepest grinder (most kills of one single mob)
  • Kill-family boards such as Murloc Bane, Boar Hunter and Spider Squasher
  • Most jumps
  • Furthest travelled, with on foot, mounted and swimming boards
  • Most hours played and Longest session
  • Epics won, Rares won and Greens won: what you took home, not what dropped nearby
  • Most rolls won, Luckiest roller and Natural hundred
  • Quest machine (quests completed)
  • Herb picker, Ore miner and Fisherman
  • Duels won and Duels lost
  • Most deaths
  • Most gold looted and Deepest pockets, with names hidden unless you opt in
  • Best of the best: every board on the wall, summed by percentile

PvP boards

What the GuildPro PvP addon (PvPLedger) records on Forever:

  • Most killing blows (on Forever, see the note below)
  • Unique players killed: each victim counts once, however often you farm them
  • Kills, any hand in it: kills and assists together
  • Most assists
  • Highest K/D, with at least 25 kills to qualify
  • Longest kill streak
  • Most hunted (most deaths, worn as a badge)
  • Most enemies tracked and Most one-sided rivalry
  • Busiest zone
  • Best of the best for PvP

The walls hold more boards than this. Some of them, such as the biggest crit, damage dealt and interrupt boards, can’t be filled on Forever. More on that below.

How are the stats recorded?

The addons count in game, the game saves to disk, and the companion app uploads the file. Nothing leaves the game on its own: addons aren’t allowed to send data anywhere.

  1. The addon records in memory. The World and PvP addons count as you play, in the open world and in instances.
  2. The game writes the file. WoW saves addon data only on /reload, logout or quit. Kill a hundred murlocs and keep playing, and they exist only in memory.
  3. The app uploads it. The app checks the saved files every two seconds and uploads a changed one within seconds. The boards show what was uploaded.

Uploading twice is safe. Each fact has an id that comes out the same every time, and lifetime totals are sent as absolute numbers and replaced, so nothing is counted twice. The details are in how sync works.

Why are some boards empty on Forever?

Because Forever doesn’t let addons read the combat log, and the addons don’t guess. Forever runs on the modern engine. In combat, addons can’t see the combat log, and health, power, auras and threat are hidden from them. Our WoW Forever addons guide explains the rules.

So on Forever, the World addon leaves alone the stats only the combat log could tell: damage and healing dealt, crits, interrupts, dispels and critter kills. Those boards stay empty for Forever characters. An empty board there is the honest state, not a bug.

What the addon can still see covers a lot: mobs it saw die while you or your group were fighting them, experience messages, loot and roll messages, movement, quests, gathering and time played.

What counts as a kill in PvP on Forever?

On Forever there is no killing blow without the combat log. A kill means an enemy player died while you were fighting them, and an assist means they died while fighting your group, or the honor message credited you. The board keeps its name, but that’s what it measures on Forever. In battlegrounds the game can hide enemy names from addons during combat, so some battleground kills can go unrecorded. Our PvP on WoW Forever post goes further.

How do I get on the board?

Install early, then make sure your sessions are saved and uploaded. The addons count from the moment they’re installed, so a character levelled before the install starts the boards from zero.

There’s nothing to apply for, and nothing to pay. Every board and every stat is free.

Are my stats public?

Yes, like an armory page, with two things private until you turn them on. Once a character has been uploaded, its page shows its PvP and world records and trophies, and it can appear on the boards. There’s no switch to hide a character’s page.

See privacy controls for both switches.

What do I get for being on a board?

A rank, and trophies. Trophies are tied to the same numbers the boards use. When a stat passes a threshold, the trophy appears in your character’s trophy case, on a ladder from grey to orange, and the Best of the best board rewards being high on many boards rather than one.

The World and PvP boards are filled by GuildPro’s free addons and Windows app, and your guild’s members show up on them as they play. One install covers raids, PvP and world stats. See the World boards, then download GuildPro.

When do the boards fill up?

From launch, as players upload. WoW Forever launches on 4 November, per Wowhead’s roadmap. Until Forever characters have uploaded, the Forever tab shows empty boards. That’s the real state of a new game, and it won’t stay that way for long.

If your guild wants to put its members on the boards together, add the install to your pre-launch list. It’s one of the steps in our WoW Forever guild checklist.

FAQ

Are there leaderboards for WoW Forever?

Blizzard hasn't announced any for jumps, distance or mobs killed. GuildPro runs free ones at /world and /pvp, filled by its addons and companion app. Forever has its own tab and is never ranked against another game.

How do I get on the WoW Forever leaderboards?

Install the free GuildPro app on Windows, let it put the addons into your Forever client, sign in with Discord, and play. Your stats upload when the game saves, on /reload, logout or quit.

Can I hide my name on the leaderboards?

Character pages and most boards are public, like an armory. Gold boards are the exception: names stay hidden as Anonymous unless you opt in on your account page.

Why are the damage and crit boards empty on Forever?

Forever doesn't let addons read the combat log, so the World addon leaves damage, healing, crit and interrupt stats alone there rather than guess them.

Do my stats from before I installed count?

No. The addons count from the moment they are installed. Install before you level, not after.
