In-game commands
Look up every Guild Pro slash command, the panel tabs and what the minimap button tells you.
This is a reference for everything the Guild Pro addon lets you do inside World of Warcraft: the slash commands, the panel and the minimap button.
Slash commands
/gp and /guildpro are the same command. Type them in chat.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/gp | Opens or closes the Guild Pro panel. |
/gp status | Prints the addon version, how many events and raids are stored, the raid you are in, and this character’s claim code. |
/gp export | Opens the export window with everything new since you last clicked Mark as pasted. |
/gp export all | Opens the export window with everything the addon has recorded. /gp all does the same. |
/gp new | Closes the current run so the next boss pull starts a new one. Use it after an instance reset if the addon keeps adding to the old run. /gp newrun does the same. If nothing is open it replies “no run open.” |
/gp log | Turns the combat log file (WoWCombatLog.txt) on or off. This is the file Warcraft Logs reads. |
/gp advanced | Turns Advanced Combat Logging on or off. Type /reload afterwards for the log to pick it up. |
/gp minimap | Hides or shows the minimap button. |
/gp options | Opens the Guild Pro page in Options, AddOns, where the minimap button can also be switched off. |
/gp ah | Turns auction price collection on or off. It is on by default. |
/gp debug | Turns debug messages on or off. You only need this if you are asked for it when reporting a problem. |
Anything else after /gp prints the list of commands.
The other addons have their own export commands: /pvpexport for PvPLedger and /mmexport for MobMetrics.
The minimap button
The sword button on the minimap is the quickest way to see whether the addon is recording.
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Left-click | Opens or closes the panel |
| Shift + left-click | Opens the export window with everything |
| Right-click | Prints the same readout as /gp status |
| Drag | Moves the button around the minimap |
The small dot on the button shows the recording state:
| Dot | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Recording a run |
| Amber | In a known instance, waiting for the first boss pull |
| Red | In an instance the addon has no boss data for. Nothing will record. |
| No dot | Not in an instance |
Hover over the button for the detail: Events, Raids and Unsent counts, the status line, and whether the Log file is “recording” or “off”. If you are in an instance with the log file off, the tooltip warns “Warcraft Logs will get nothing from this raid”.
The panel
Open it with /gp. It has four tabs.
Runs
A list of recorded runs on the left and the open run on the right, with bosses, kill times, wipes and loot. The current run is marked “live”.
- Click a run to open it. Tick the box beside a run to pick it.
- Export this run exports the run you have open.
- Export selected exports the runs you ticked.
- Clear ticks unticks everything.
Guild
Your in-game guild roster as the addon read it: member count, how many are online, your rank, and each member’s level, rank and zone. This roster travels with your next export so the website knows who is in the guild. Officer notes are never included. Refresh roster reads it again.
Log
Shows whether combat events are arriving, the tracking status, and whether WoWCombatLog.txt is being written.
- Start logging / Stop logging does the same as
/gp log. - Auto in instances makes the addon start the log file by itself whenever you enter a dungeon or raid. It also turns on Advanced Combat Logging. This is off until you click it.
Export
- Export new builds an export of everything since the last Mark as pasted.
- Everything builds an export of all recorded data.
- < Prev and Next > move between the parts of a long export. The line at the bottom shows the size and “part 1 of 3”.
- Mark as pasted tells the addon you have pasted this export on the website, so the next one carries only what is new. It does nothing for a hand-picked run export.
- Add a test raid adds a fake Molten Core run tagged as a test, so you can try the export without raiding.
- Wipe all data deletes everything the addon has stored for this game account. Click it once and it changes to Really wipe?; click again within five seconds to confirm. This cannot be undone. Data already uploaded to the website is not affected.
Press Escape or click Close to close the panel.
When the addon records
- Recording starts at the first boss pull inside a dungeon or raid. Loot picked up in the instance before that pull is held and added to the run once it starts.
- Attendance is marked at each boss pull, so someone who joins for the last two bosses is recorded for those two only.
- Outside an instance, the GuildPro addon records no raid data.
- Leaving and re-entering the same instance within three hours of the last pull continues the same run. If you reset the instance and the addon keeps adding to the old run, type
/gp new.
Your claim code
/gp status ends with a line starting “Claim code:”. This code proves a character is yours. You normally never need it, because the app and the import page attach your characters for you. If a character is missing from your profile or attached to someone else’s account, paste the code on /me under Claim a character by code.
Keep the code private. Anyone who has it can move that character to their own account.
