Import by hand

Copy an export string out of the game and paste it into the import page, without using the companion app.

If you do not want to run the companion app, or you are not on Windows, you can copy an export string out of the game and paste it into the website. This works for raid, PvP and world data.

Before you start

  • The addon must be installed in your game. See Install the addon.
  • Sign in on the website first. An import made while signed in is filed under your guild and attaches your characters to your account. An import made while signed out is still stored, but it is not attached to a guild until a signed-in member imports the same raid.

Steps

  1. In game, type the export command for the data you want:

    DataAddonCommand
Raid data: attendance, boss kills, loot, rostersGuildPro/gp export
    PvP dataPvPLedger/pvpexport
    World dataMobMetrics/mmexport
  2. A window opens with the export string selected. Press Ctrl+C to copy it.

  3. Open /import and paste into the box that says “Paste the export string here…”.

  4. If the export has more than one part, go back to the game, click Next >, copy that part and paste it into the same box under the previous one. The order does not matter.

  5. Watch the line next to the buttons. It shows which parts have arrived, for example “have 2 of 3, missing 3”, and changes to “complete (3 parts)” when everything is there.

  6. Click Import.

  7. For a GuildPro export, go back to the game and click Mark as pasted. The next /gp export then carries only what is new.

Reading the result

The page shows Imported, Already imported or Import failed, with a count of what landed:

CountMeaning
NewFacts the site did not have before
Already knownFacts the site already had. These are not stored twice.
RaidsRaids in this export
CharactersCharacters in this export
Counter setsLifetime totals updated (PvP and world data)
Stale, ignoredTotals older than what the site already holds

If the result includes a claim code and “sign in and this character links to your profile”, you imported while signed out. Sign in and import again, or paste the code on /me under Claim a character by code.

Which export to use

  • /gp export sends what is new since you last clicked Mark as pasted. Use this after each raid.
  • /gp export all sends everything the addon has ever recorded. Use it the first time, or to fill a gap. It is much longer.
  • To send one run only, open the panel with /gp, pick the run on the Runs tab and click Export this run. Tick several runs and click Export selected to send those. A picked export does not change what counts as “new”.

Pasting the same export twice is safe. Nothing is counted twice.

Good to know

  • The export is built from what the addon holds right now. You do not need to /reload before a hand export.
  • Auction prices are not part of a hand export. They are sent only by the companion app.
  • The /import page also shows an upload key with Copy and Roll buttons. Treat it like a password. Clicking Roll disconnects the companion app on every computer you have paired, and you will have to sign in to the app again.
