Use the guild roster
Find characters by class, spec and role, set specs and mains, and view a team's roster.
The Guild roster is a directory of every character in your guild, grouped by class and spec. It answers “who do we have”, not “who is coming on Thursday”. This page is for officers and admins.
Before you start
- The roster fills from the addon. One member’s upload lists the whole guild, because the addon reads the in-game member list. See How sync works.
- Until something has been uploaded, the page shows Nobody yet.
Read the roster
Open Guild roster in your guild’s sidebar, at /g/your-guild/rosters (“your-guild” is your guild’s address).
- The header counts characters and people. Characters claimed by the same account count as one person.
- Can fill counts how many characters could play each role. A class counts for every role it can play, so a druid appears under all four. Where a spec is known, the spec decides the role instead.
- By class lists every character under its class and spec. Characters with no spec are listed under No spec set.
- Type in Find a character or a raider… to filter the list.
Beside each name you may see:
- main, or alt of followed by the main’s name.
- unclaimed - nobody has claimed this character on Guild Pro.
- A green dot - the character was online at the last addon sync.
- A coloured number - the character’s Warcraft Logs parse.
Select a name to open that character’s public profile.
Set specs and mains
Characters with no spec are counted for every role their class can play, which inflates your tank and healer counts. To fix that:
- Select Set specs (or Edit specs if every character already has one).
- Pick a spec from the first dropdown under a character. — not set — clears it.
- Use the second dropdown to mark the character Main or Alt for the guild. Leaving it on player’s call keeps whatever the player set themselves.
- Select Done editing. The page reloads so characters move to their new groups.
Each change saves as you make it. What you set here is the guild’s own record and does not overwrite the player’s own choice elsewhere.
View parses
If parses have been synced, a Parses bar appears with Best raid and one chip per raid. Select a raid to show each character’s best parse for it. The header shows the average for the characters that have one. See Parses for how to sync.
View a team’s roster
If your guild has raid teams, a submenu appears under Guild roster with Everyone and one entry per team. A team’s view shows the characters that are seated or benched on any of that team’s rosters in the Roster Builder.
WoW Forever guilds
A WoW Forever guild also shows a Preliminary roster card, filled from answers to the Discord roster call. See /rostercall.
