Sign in with Discord
Sign in to Guild Pro with your Discord account and understand what that shares.
Guild Pro has no passwords of its own. Everyone signs in with Discord, whether you raid, lead or run the guild.
Before you start
- You need a Discord account.
- If you want to join your guild automatically, be a member of your guild’s Discord server before you sign in.
- Open guildpro.io.
- Click Sign in with Discord in the top bar. If you are on /me, the button is Continue with Discord.
- Approve the request on Discord’s screen.
- You land on /me, your account page.
What Discord shares
Guild Pro asks Discord for two things:
- Who you are: your Discord id, username and avatar.
- The list of Discord servers you belong to, and whether you can manage each one.
It does not get your password, cannot read your messages and cannot post as you. The server list is read once at sign-in, not continuously.
What happens next
- You join your guild. If you are in a Discord server where the Guild Pro bot is connected to a guild, you are added to that guild as a raider. There is no invite code and no join form.
- Your role is never changed by signing in. If an officer has promoted you, signing in again keeps that role.
- The Dashboard button appears. With one guild it goes straight there. With several it becomes a menu, and /dashboard opens your primary guild, which you choose on /me under Guilds.
Because the server list is read at sign-in, joining a new Discord server later does not show up until you sign in again. On /dashboard, Refresh my servers does exactly that.
Sign out
- Open /me.
- Click Sign out at the top right of your account header.
If sign-in fails
You are sent back to /me with a message at the top.
