What Guild Pro is
Understand the four parts of Guild Pro and which ones you need.
Guild Pro is a set of tools for running a World of Warcraft Classic guild: signups, rosters, attendance, loot and recaps, tied to your Discord server and to the game. This page is for anyone deciding where to start, whether you raid, lead raids or run the guild.
The four parts
| Part | What it does | Who needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Website | Your account, your characters, and each guild’s dashboard at /g/your-guild. Almost all setup happens here. | Everyone |
| Discord bot | Posts signup sheets, rosters, recaps, loot and announcements into your server. | One admin installs it per Discord server |
| In-game addon | Records raids, bosses, loot and attendance while you play. | At least one person per raid |
| Companion app (Windows) | Installs the addons into your WoW clients and uploads what they record, so nobody has to paste anything. | Optional |
The companion app installs three addons: GuildPro (raids, bosses, loot, attendance), PvPLedger (PvP records) and MobMetrics (world kills and gold). None of them is a damage meter: WowIQ grades come from the combat log, read by the app after the pull.
Which games are supported
Guild Pro is built for WoW Forever and Classic. The setup wizard offers WoW Forever (the default), Classic Era, Burning Crusade, Wrath and Cataclysm, and a guild can add more games later from its settings. Retail is not supported.
Roles inside a guild
Every guild on Guild Pro has three roles. They are Guild Pro roles, separate from your Discord roles and your in-game rank.
- raider: can open the overview, calendar, recaps, loot, attendance and surveys.
- officer: can also run signups, rosters, the comp builder, members, recruitment, teams and the bot pages.
- admin: can also open Settings and MCP, and change the guild’s plan.
You become a raider automatically when you sign in while you are a member of a Discord server that has the bot connected to a guild. Officer and admin are always granted by a person.
What it costs
Raiding is free. Running a guild is free. Paid plans exist, but nothing recorded from the game is ever locked behind them. See What is free.
