Get help
Find out where to ask for help and what to include so your problem can be solved quickly.
If the other troubleshooting pages did not solve your problem, ask in the Guild Pro Discord. This page tells you where to go and what to bring.
Where to ask
- The Guild Pro Discord. Go to /discord, or click Join the Discord in the footer of any page. This is the place for questions, bug reports and requests.
- Email. For anything you would rather not post in the Discord, such as billing or account questions, email support@guildpro.io.
- Privacy and data requests. For questions about your data, an export of it, or deleting it, email privacy@guildpro.io. See /privacy.
Before you ask
Check the page that matches your problem. Most reports are answered by one of these:
What to include
A report with these details can usually be answered in one reply.
For any problem
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The exact text of any error message. Copy it rather than describing it.
- Your guild’s name on the website.
For sync and upload problems
- The Activity list from the companion app. Open the Settings tab, scroll to Activity, click Sync now, and copy the last ten or so lines. They say what was read, what was uploaded and why anything failed.
- The output of
/gp statusin game. It prints the addon version, the game version, and how many events and raids are stored. Leave out the last line: the claim code is private. - Which game version you play, for example WoW Forever or Classic Era.
- The app version. If a banner at the top of the app says a newer version is out, update first and try again.
For raids that did not record
- The instance name.
- The status line from the minimap button tooltip. If it says the instance “is not in the boss data”, include the id number shown in that line.
For bot problems
- The command you typed and the bot’s reply.
- The matching line from Recent activity on your guild’s Bot page.
What not to share
Never post these in a public channel:
- Your claim code (the line starting “Claim code:” in
/gp status). Anyone who has it can move that character to their account. - The upload key shown on the /import page. Anyone who has it can upload data as you. If it has leaked, click Roll on that page, then sign in to the companion app again.
