Understand attendance
How Guild Pro turns signups and the addon's raid record into attendance, and how to read the Attendance page.
Attendance compares two things: who said they would come, and who was actually in the raid. The signup sheet supplies the first. The addon supplies the second. Every member of the guild can open the Attendance page.
Before you start
- Attendance needs raids recorded by the addon and uploaded. Signups alone produce nothing here. See How sync works.
- No-shows need a signup sheet tied to the raid. See “How a sheet is tied to a raid” below.
How a raid becomes attendance
- Before the raid, raiders answer the signup sheet in Discord.
- During the raid, the addon records who is in the raid group at every boss pull.
- After the raid, the record is uploaded by the companion app or pasted on the import page.
- Guild Pro ties the raid to its signup sheet and compares the two.
Attendance is marked at each pull, not once on zone-in.
How a sheet is tied to a raid
When a raid is uploaded, Guild Pro looks for a signup sheet in the same guild whose start time is within 12 hours of the raid. If several fit, the one for the same instance wins, then the one closest in time. If two are equally close, none is tied. The sheet that is tied gets closed.
A raid with no sheet tied to it still counts towards attendance. It cannot produce no-shows, because there is nothing to compare against.
Read the Attendance page
Open Attendance in your guild’s sidebar, at /g/your-guild/attendance (“your-guild” is your guild’s address). Pick a window in the header: Last 60 raids, Last 10 raids, Last 30 days or All time.
The table has one row per person. Characters claimed by the same account are folded into one row, so a night on an alt still counts.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Raided | Raids the person was recorded in, out of the raids since they first appeared. |
| Rate | Raided plus benched, as a share of those raids. |
| Benched | Raids where they were on the published bench and did not raid. |
| Excused | Raids they missed after giving notice. |
| Signed | Raids they signed up for with a role. |
| No-shows | Raids they signed up for and never appeared in. |
| Streak | Consecutive credited raids, counting back from the most recent. |
| Last seen | Days since they last raided. |
The rules
Raided. One of the person’s characters appears in the addon’s record of that raid.
Benched. The person was on the bench of a roster posted from the Comp builder for that raid, and did not raid. The bench is everyone who pressed Bench on the sheet plus everyone who said yes or late and was not seated. Benched raids count in the rate.
Excused. The person gave notice and did not raid. Notice is any of these, given before the start time:
- Can’t make it or Late on the signup sheet.
- I can’t make it or Request a swap on the posted roster.
Excused raids count neither for nor against the person.
No-show. The person signed up with a role, the sheet is tied to the raid, and they were not recorded in the raid, not benched and not excused.
Rate. The rate only counts raids since the person first appeared. Someone who joined three weeks ago and made all six raids since is at 100%. Their Raided cell is marked “since joining”.
Streak. An excused absence pauses a streak. A no-show or an unexplained absence ends it.
Flexible and split sheets. A raider who offered three characters and played one has raided. On a split sheet, a raider is expected at as many of the splits as characters they offered.
Limits and notes
- If a raider signs up under a character name that does not match the name in game, the two cannot be matched and the raider can appear as a no-show. Claiming characters avoids typing names.
- Characters nobody has claimed each get their own row.
- Tentative on its own is not counted as signed, excused or a no-show.
- The page says how many raids in the window are tied to a signup sheet when not all of them are.
- To see the same numbers in Discord, use the /attendance command.
