Track confirmations on the raid plan

See who has confirmed a posted roster, chase the ones who have not, and send updates.

The Raid plan page shows a posted roster with each raider’s answer on their seat. Use it between posting the roster and the raid starting. This page is for officers and admins.

Before you start

  • A roster must have been posted from the Comp builder. Until then the page shows No roster published.
  • You need the officer or admin role.

How raiders answer

A posted roster has three answer buttons in Discord:

ButtonRecorded as
Confirm my slotconfirmed
Request a swapwants a swap
I can’t make itcan’t make it

Request a swap and I can’t make it open a box asking “Anything the raid leader should know?”. The reason is optional. The answer is saved even if the raider closes the box. A raider can change their answer by pressing a different button.

Read the plan

Open Raid plan in your guild’s sidebar, at /g/your-guild/raidplan (“your-guild” is your guild’s address). If more than one roster has been posted, pick one from the dropdown in the header. The 20 most recent are listed.

Who has answered counts five states:

  • confirmed
  • asked, waiting - you have messaged them and they have not answered.
  • not asked - nobody has messaged them yet.
  • want a swap
  • can’t make it

The roster shows the groups as they were built, with a mark on each seat:

MarkMeaning
✓Confirmed
⇄Wants a swap
✕Can’t make it
◷No answer yet

Hover over a mark to see the reason a raider gave, or how many times they have been asked. Open The same people as a list for a table with each raider’s answer, note and time.

Answered but not slotted lists people who pressed a button without being on the roster. This is usually someone on the bench saying they are available.

Chase people who have not answered

  1. Select Ask the N who have not answered.
  2. Each of them gets a direct message from the bot with three buttons: I’ll be there, I need a swap and I can’t make it.

To message one person, select ask on their seat, or Ask in the list. The button reads again once they have been asked, and msg if they have already answered with a swap or an absence.

Nothing is sent on a timer from this page. Scheduled chasing is a separate, opt-in automation. See Automations.

The page reports anyone the bot could not reach, with the reason.

Send an update

Use this for changes such as a new start time.

  1. Under Send an update, type the message.
  2. Select Send to all N.

Everyone on the roster gets a direct message with three buttons: Sounds good, I need help and This changes things. Answers appear under the update. I need help and This changes things both list the raider under Needs you. Answering an update does not change a raider’s confirmation.

Limits and notes

  • Raiders must answer with the buttons. The bot cannot read replies typed into a direct message.
  • Only raiders seated with a Discord account behind them can be messaged.
  • A swap or can’t-make-it pressed before the raid starts counts as an excused absence in Attendance.

Still stuck? Ask in the Discord.
