Unlock the Guild Master plan
Turn on the Guild Master plan for your guild by paying for it or by collecting five Supporter boosts.
The Guild Master plan is the paid plan for a guild. It can be switched on in two ways: an admin pays $20 a month, or five of your raiders place their Supporter boosts on the guild. This page is for guild admins.
Before you start
- You need the admin role in the guild. Only admins can open Settings.
- Running the guild is already free. You only need this plan for the extras listed below.
Check your plan
- Open
/g/your-guild/settings, where “your-guild” is your guild’s address. - Find the Guild Master plan card. Its heading shows one of:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| not funded | The plan is off. The card shows how many of 5 boosts you have so far. |
| active · $20/mo | An admin is paying for it. |
| active · N boosts | Five or more boosts are running it at no cost. |
Option 1: pay for it
- On the Guild Master plan card, click Fund it · $20/mo.
- Complete the payment on Stripe’s page.
- You return to Settings with “Payment received — the plan activates within a few seconds of Stripe confirming.”
The subscription belongs to the admin who paid. To cancel it or change the card, that admin opens /me, chooses the Support tab and clicks Manage billing. A guild that is already funded cannot be funded a second time.
Option 2: collect five boosts
- Ask your raiders to become Supporters. The card links to /me#support.
- Each Supporter opens the Support tab on /me and clicks Boost this guild beside your guild.
- When five boosts are active, the plan switches on by itself.
The card lists everyone currently boosting under Boosted by. Hover a name to see when they started. While the plan is off, it also shows how many more boosts are needed.
What the plan unlocks
- Surveys: a free guild can have one survey open at a time. With the plan, you can publish as many as you like.
- Guild banner: the whole banner library for your guild’s public page, including the banners marked Guild Master shelf.
When boosts go past five, the card also reports extra Raid Leader seats, one for every three boosts past five.
Good to know
- A boost only counts while the Supporter behind it has an active plan. If someone’s plan ends, your count drops and the plan can switch off.
- If the guild is both paid and boosted, the card shows it as paid and notes the boosts beside it.
- A Supporter can move or withdraw their boost at any time.
- Boosting does not need a role in the guild. Any member who is a Supporter can boost it.
