Run your Discord from Claude

GuildPro's MCP connector lets Claude manage your Discord server in plain language: channels, categories, roles, events, members and announcements. It works on any server you run, WoW or not. If your guild runs on GuildPro, the same connector also runs your raids, rosters, signups, attendance and loot.

Connect in four steps

About five minutes. You need a Claude plan that allows custom connectors.
Early access
  1. Step 1 Add the GuildPro bot to your server

Sign in to guildpro.io with Discord and add the bot from your dashboard. You need Manage Server on that Discord. Adding it gives your server its own GuildPro guild, WoW or not.

    Add the bot
  2. Step 2 Add the connector in Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it GuildPro and paste:

    https://mcp.guildpro.io/mcp

Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http guildpro https://mcp.guildpro.io/mcp

  3. Step 3 Sign in with Discord

Click Connect. Choose what Claude may do: Read is always on, Run the guild lets it post and organise, and Manage Discord lets it change channels, roles and events. Tick that last one if you want the Discord tools. Then sign in with the same Discord account.

  4. Step 4 Pick your server and ask

Ask "which servers can you manage?". Claude lists every server you have GuildPro in, with your role in each. Name the one you mean, then ask for what you want.

Things to ask

  • “Make a #announcements channel only the Officers role can post in.”
  • “Create an event for Friday at 9pm called Movie Night and announce it in #general.”
  • “Make roles for Tank, Healer and DPS and post a role picker for them.”
  • “We're done with Season 2. Propose deleting the s2- channels.”
  • “Set up a Moltres team with its own channels.”
  • “Who's slipping on attendance this month?”

If it doesn't connect

early access

"No Guild Pro account yet": sign in once at guildpro.io with the same Discord account, then click Connect again.

"The bot holds only posting permissions": on your guild's MCP page, press Upgrade permissions and approve Discord's screen.

"This needs the admin role": your GuildPro role in that server is too low. See below.

Still stuck? Tell us in the GuildPro Discord.

Who can use this

Your role decides, and Discord has to agree

Claude acts as you, and can never do more than your GuildPro role allows. Changing anything also needs you in the Discord, and channel and role changes need Manage Server there.

Members

raider

Anyone who joins the Discord and signs in becomes a member. Members can read: roster, schedule, signups, attendance, loot. They can't change anything in the Discord.

Officers

officer

Post announcements and messages, create raids and events, and start threads, polls and forum posts. They can't change channels or roles.

Admins

admin

Change channels, categories and roles, and approve deletes, as long as Discord says they hold Manage Server. The person who adds the bot becomes the first admin, and admins promote others on the Members page.

Deliberately never

What it will not do

  • Kick, ban or time anyone out. Moderation stays with people.
  • Give a role real powers. Roles are created empty, and roles with moderation or management permissions are never handed out.
  • Ping @everyone. @here only goes out when you ask for it.
  • Read your members' messages.
  • Delete anything without an admin's click.
  • Touch billing. Plans and boosts stay on the website.

What it costs

FreeReading is unlimited. 25 changes a day per guild, shared by everyone in it. The first time a guild runs out, it gets 7 days of unlimited, once.
Guild Master · $10/mo or $96/yrUnlimited changes. Or unlock it with 3 boosts from your members.

You also need a Claude plan that supports connectors.
