What kind of guild this sets the defaults for everything after it
Pick one — everything below is a starting point you can change later.
Teams one is normal; more than one changes the whole product
Each team gets its own signups, roster, recaps and Discord channels. A guild
with one team never sees the word again.
Raid nights so we can tell you a sheet is missing before anybody asks
Add every night a team raids — two-night guilds are the normal case, not the exception.
How people sign up this is the one guilds get wrong
This is a default for new sheets — any sheet can override it, and you can change it in Settings any time.
Loot we only record it — how you decide is yours
Guild Pro never decides who gets an item. It records what dropped, who took it,
and — if it went to a roll — the number that won it. A default too: change it in
Settings whenever your system changes.
Discord channels where sheets, rosters and recaps land
Either way, nothing posts anywhere until you publish a sheet. And these are just
the defaults — if you run separate channels per raid (a #tbc-10-sign-up and a
#tbc-25-sign-up, say), the Bot page has the fine-grained routing after setup.
Install GuildPro the thing that moves the data
Everything above is the plumbing. GuildPro is the water — it installs the
addons into every WoW client on your PC, watches your SavedVariables, and uploads
raids, loot, attendance, PvP and world data the moment the game writes them.
No pasting, ever.
You can finish setup without it — everything you configured still works, and the
data starts flowing the moment it runs. Your raiders install the same thing; only
one person per raid needs it, but every installer helps.
Ready here is what this would create
Nothing has been created — this is a prototype. In the real flow this is the point where the Discord install happens, because everything above decides which channels get made.
